  1. I'd say that Stanley's problem was bad luck and his no good dirty rotten pig stealing great great grandfather. I Have a question about why they do what they do in camp green lake.

  2. I'd say that Stanley's problem is the bad luck from his great great grandfather. I predict that in the next chapter Stanly is going to run off.

  7. I think Stanleys problem is bad luck. But I don't think his no good dirty rotten pig stealin great grandfather had any thing to do with it. I just think that Stanley was in the wrong place at the wrong time when the shoes got thrown down on top of his head. I predict that someone threw down the shoes on Stanleys head and ran away.

  9. I think that the people at the camp are wierd becuase there
should be called by there real names name not nick names like zigzag or armpit.I also think that maybe someone from the camp could have thrown the sneakers over the roof so then Stanely could get in trouble.

  10. I think stanelys promble was just bad luck. And he didnt even steal them someone throw and they stole the and the shoes hit him in the head. If i was the polcice man i say WHO THROW THEASE SHOES AT THE KIND BOY AND THEN IF HE SAID SOMEONE THRO THEM I WILL BELIVE HIM BECUSE HE IS AND NICE DUDE FOR A STEALER. I think a little bit that someone thro straigh at him to get him to jail.

  11. I think that Stanely has bad luck but i dont think the curse of Stanely's no good dirty rotten pig stealin great great grandfather has something to do with the problem with Stanely.what Stanely's bad luck caused Stanely to "have"/"steal" the shoes!I predict that somebody threw the shoes at him, maybe from above him or on either side of him.

  14. Haley I agree with you when you said that Stanleys no good dirty rotten pig stealing great great grandfather has nothing to do with his bad luck. The book already explainded that the curse wasn't true so it couldn't have been that. However I am still wondering who/what threw/dropped the pair of famous sweet feet shoes onto Stanley from above. I am also wondering what happened or is going to happen to the person/thing that threw /dropped the shoes.

  15. I think it was destiny because he was thinking about his Dad trying to find away to recycle old shoes. Then the shoes fell out of the sky. I wonder why Stanley started to run because it sounded like he was commiting a crime because he had the shoes in his hands and he was running? Kania I liked how you said that Stanley is nice guy not a theif. I predict that at the end of the book he will be found innocent.

  19. I think that Stanley's problem was his no good dirty rotten pig stealing great great granfather. I have a few questions to ask: why would the boys in Stanley's cabin didn't belive him when he was telling the honest truth? why do they half to dig holes that are five feet wide and five feet long? how do they get out of their holes when they are done? how did Stanley's grandfather get curst and when?

  20. i think that it was all his dirty rotten pig stealing great great grandfather. i think that because it says that in the book that Stanleys dirty rotten pig stealing great great grandfather got his whole family cursed and i think that when something went wrong it would be nice to blame something. Even if it was not true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. It is supposedly to blame his no-good, dirty-rotten, pig stealin' great great grandfather. I think it was bad luck. I think that because Stanley is a good kid. Even though he has a hard life, doesn,t mean he complains. He just was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I wonder why Stanley is such a large kid. I also wonder why all the campers have weird nick-names.
I like how Haley describes how it isn't Stanley's Grandfather's fault.
